Sometimes the subscribers to this ART DELIVERY aren’t just one person… sometimes they’re a gallery! Today’s spotlight is shining on PxP Contemporary. They have teamed up with NoName Gallery to present “Believing In Tomorrow”, a group exhibition featuring the work of 12 local (Philadelphia), regional, and international artists. Here’s the description:
“As the famed German painter Gerhard Richter once wrote, “Art is the highest form of hope.” The power of art isn’t only showing us what is or can be beautiful - it also has a way of opening up discussions, reigniting our imagination, and reminding us that there is still a future worth believing in. With these sentiments in mind, this exhibition has the simple aim of inviting the community to enjoy uplifting artwork in a welcoming environment. From fresh florals and eye-catching abstracts to whimsical sculptures and graphic urban paintings, this collection will appeal to a variety of aesthetic tastes. An eclectic exhibition not to be missed, “Believing In Tomorrow” highlights emerging talent from across Philadelphia as well as several artists who will be exhibiting in the area for the first time ever.”
The show is on right now, and will run until August 25th at NoName Gallery : 8127 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia. {The artists show above, in order, are Megan Coonelly, Krestin Cornwall, Steph Blondet, Phyllis Gorsen and Jacqueline Tse and all of the work in the show can be found right here.}
psst… There are only 3 weeks left until the PRICE OF THE ART DELIVERY GOES UP! If you’ve been on the fence, now is the time because everyone who subscribes before SEPTEMBER 1st will only pay $3/mo ($36 USD/year) FOREVER.
