Okay, I just shared those wooden bananas on Instagram the other day, but I couldn’t stop there!? Clearly I had to share all of this other amazingness, too! These mixed media sculptures are the flawless work of Houston based artist Joyce Lin. I don’t even know where to begin… so, let’s go with that arm chair, shall we?!

Epoxy resin, fiberglass, soil : “This project was born from my interest in the ground as a sort of primordial birthplace of all things and the surface world being where we shape/impose our ideals over our surroundings. And perhaps, in some way, a tribute to the solace I’ve found in outdoor domestic spaces in the past year.” ~ Joyce Lin, 2021
