How much do I love the diverse and talented community we’re building here! Speaking of which, Oakland based ceramicist Erin Hupp is our ‘member in the spotlight’ today. Not only does Erin make all of these gorgeous pieces, the majority of them are bespoke collaborations with both restaurants and homeowners. Brilliant! In the case of chef’s, Erin works directly with them to “create tableware to elevate their signature dish.” YUM! You can see more of Erin’s elegant work on Instagram at @erinhuppceramics … try not to get hungry scrolling through!

YAY! I just got home from Los Angeles & Palm Springs, and I’ll be heading out to Vancouver, Portland and New York in April… Art, Joy and I will see you out there! ps. Update: the pencil shoes gave me major blisters, so I’ll have to rethink my footwear for the rest of the tour. OUCH.

Have a lovely weekend ~ Danielle

Oh no! naughty pencil shoes writing on your heels! Like a toddler with crayons and nice fresh walls or furniture! Is there a way to get them stretched or adjusted so they are kind to your hard-working feet? Doubled up silk socks?
