My show, “Self-Preservation”, is officially open… which means today’s podcast episode is Part II of my conversation with New York artist Petah Coyne. In case you missed Part I, Petah generously offered to take over the roll of 'host' so she could interview me. We’re talking about the opening, what worked, what I’d change, what’s next, and all of the feelings that come crashing in after you’ve worked really hard on a body of work for a really long time. Look and listen on my site, or download ART FOR YOUR EAR wherever you get your podcasts.

… and the gratitude issue continues! When I started this newsletter just over a year ago, so many of you jumped right in to support me. One of the first people to become a NSTATMA society member was New Orleans based artist Ashley Longshore… as you can see, JUMPING IN is one of her major strengths (not to mention supporting other artists every chance she gets). So, to round out my overwhelming gratitude today, I just want to say how supported I feel by this community… Petah, Ashley, and all of you! Thank you for being on this artsy ride with me. xo.

Have a lovely, creative weekend ~ Danielle

ps. Speaking of being part of this group, look what Jen Worden made from Wednesday’s weird nail polish / llama prompt… love it!
