GORGEOUS! These cyanotypes — and beautifully blue collages, made with even more cyanotypes — are the work of today’s ‘member in the spotlight’, Portland based artist Claudia Hollister:
“My process involves alchemy, nature, artistic license, technology and timing. The shades of blue and soft white make the images appear both contemporary and vintage. Each print is an individual piece of art kissed by the sun.”
Well, I couldn’t love that description more! You can follow Claudia on Instagram at @claudiahollister.
Oh dear, I wouldn’t want anyone to experience FOMO… you should probably just subscribe to ‘The NSTATMA Society’ so you’ll get all of my ARTicles, creative prompts, inspiring/practical advice from our community, etc. It’s $5 a month, which is the lowest Substack will let me go, so I got sneaky and set the yearly price at $36 which ends up at only $3 a month… wait, isn’t that less than a crappy latte? Yup. (Fabulous FOMO painting by Wayne White)
Have a lovely weekend ~ Danielle
ps. I’ll be in New York on SATURDAY APRIL 29th at NOON reading my new book (“ART and JOY - Best Friends Forever”) and makin’ art! See you at McNally Jackson’s Seaport store! And if you’re in Philly, after an 8 year hiatus, I’m gonna do one of my all day, diggin’ deep, inner critic-smashing GIRL CRUSH workshops. Space is limited so sign up soon!

Thank you once again for believing in my work. A friend shared this with me! How did I miss this?
Is this a different group than substack? If so I need to join!
Claudia's work is beautifully stunning! Thanks for sharing her work!
