Just a couple of valley girls talkin' about mountains, and a whole bunch of other stuff… like, a lot of other stuff, ie., brace yourself for tangents! LA based artist Elyse Dodge and I grew up in the same beautiful Canadian valley, in towns just down the lake from each other. Well, as we quickly found out, this was only the beginning of the crazy things we have in common. Look and listen on my site, or subscribe to ART FOR YOUR EAR wherever you get your podcasts. ps. Elyse is my final guest of this season… I’m taking July and August off from the podcast {not this newsletter!}, and will be back with brand new episodes in early September. If you’re not a NSTATMA subscriber, I mean, that would certainly help fill the void you might feel. Just sayin’.

Oh my word, what is she up to!? Today’s society member in the spotlight is American artist Lyz Wendland. Over the past several months she’s been pushing her work in all sorts of new and exciting paint-covered / paper-cut directions. Have a lovely weekend ~ Danielle
