Ahhh, I can almost smell those Vancouver Island forests, and the big beautiful blooms! Today’s member in the spotlight is Canadian painter Sally Podmore:
Her abstracted impressionistic style has evolved in an ongoing conversation with her natural surroundings. Themes in Sally’s art center around a sense of place, memory, and the ever-changing seasons of life.

I thought I saw an Emily Carr influence. Both have (had) ties to the Vancouver area. Beautiful.
