Who else wants to drop everything, and spend the day outside? Me too. Boston based artist Cheryl McCaffrey and her absolutely lovely botanical paintings are in the spotlight today:
“For me, drawing and painting is about slowing down and observing what’s around me by looking closely at all the details of a natural object. I try to capture these intricacies in my art – details that might otherwise be missed unless you were looking really closely. I work primarily in watercolor, observing and documenting the delicate, perfectly imperfect details found in nature.”
So beautiful. You can follow Cheryl’s botanical adventures on Instagram at @cherylmccaffrey.
