Ah, I can almost smell the salty ocean air! Today’s ‘member in the spotlight’ has a show opening very soon… “No Turning Back” by Seattle based artist Rachel Wold will be showing at @bottlehouse in Madrona (Seattle, WA). The opening reception — filled with fine wine, delicious food, and Rachel’s dreamy abstract landscapes — is happening on Sunday Aug 6th, from 3 to 5pm. A great big joy-filled sale? Yep! The reason for it is a little bit sad though…

“Our storage unit of Oh Joy archive of products got broken into earlier this year, and they sole almost half of our collection. I had been saving one of everything we’ve made. Once I got through the sadness of some random person now having a lot of it, I decided that it was time to let the rest go to homes and people who can use them instead of holding onto what was left. I’ve kept some of my favorites, and I’m selling the rest this weekend in a big sale with @studiodiy in Los Angeles. Everything is priced to sell…lots of $5-10, $20-30 items! From past Target, Petco, Calpak, Tula, Freshly Picked, Keds, and more! Only one of each!”
