She had me at ‘banana cream pie’. INSERT BANANA HERE, aka American artist Sarah Moldovan, is our ‘subscriber in the spotlight’ today! Sarah’s been part of this lovely community since the beginning, and in that time, she has painted narrative, text-based, still life and daily gouache bananas. Why? Well…

“… if Yayoi Kusama can paint dots, Hunt Slonem can rock his rabbit and Wayne Thiebaud makes us all hungry for desserts — I feel very confident in painting colorful, funky stylized bananas for a very very long time.”
