I have a major crushes on surrealist artists Leonora Carrington and Leonor Fini. They were a huge source of discussion at the Venice Biennale this year, and now I wanna be a witch when I grow up! Both of them were fascinated by alchemy, witchcraft, and the power of women… so I thought they’d make perfect subjects for the ‘jumpday’ right before Halloween, yes? Yes! Choose one (or all) of these shots by French photographer Denise Colomb, print it out, and then alter it by adding your magic… whether your wand looks like a paintbrush or a glitter pen. Have fun, you can’t do it wrong!
