I kicked off 2021 with an Ashley Longshore episode, and I’m gonna wrap the year with another one. Yep, New Orleans based artist Ashley Longshore is back on the podcast today! We’re talking about JOY… finding it in the little things, bringing it into our artwork, and not letting the state of the world break us. She also prepped a few questions for ME this time around (and yes, I blushed more than once… she does that to me). Okay, now I need to pull out a few of my old mixed tapes! Today’s society member spotlight is shining on Canadian artist Mandy van Leeuwen. She paints on everything from canvas to walls, both inside and outside! Here’s a little snippet from Mandy’s website:
