Hi Everyone,
Over the next week, I’ll be sending the daily emails to EVERYONE on the NSTATMA list, not just the subscribing members. After all, the holidays always end up being a blur of wonderful things (like cookies and naps and movies), so why not add ART to that lineup, too… Enjoy! ~ Danielle xo
Ahhh, the absolutely gorgeous work of Argentinian artist Francisco Diaz Scotto, aka @pastelfd. He’s very well known for his stunning murals, so I made sure to pop a couple in at the end… that said, it’s his acrylic/gouache paintings of street dogs (both on walls and on canvas) that melt my heart. Clearly, those sweet hounds melt his heart too.
Francisco has a solo exhibition, titled "Patio Misionero", that opens at Hashimoto Contemporary San Francisco on Saturday, January 8th from 1pm-7pm.
Monday at ‘The NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH ART Society’ is usually all about motivating us to be creative … but today, these paintings by American artist Mando Marie, aka @seeyouthroughit, pretty much sum up everything I want to do for the next few days. Giving ourselves permission to slow down and recharge a little might just be the most productive thing we can do from time to time. So take a deep breath, let go of any “I should really be doing _______” guilt, and we’ll roll up our sleeves again next week.
Happy Monday ~ Danielle
Love the dogs and the artist’s colour palette and incredibly smooth style!
