Soooo, last Saturday I featured an installation, titled “Path”, by Sara Dehghan. It’s about the “displacement and movement” of immigration. This was already wonderful enough, but then Sara sent me an email with the ‘behind the scenes’ story, and her ingenuity was too fantastic not to share:
Wow! The magic that is created in a 150sf room with low ceilings! I love the message of pushing past your doubts. The straw camera projections are also incredibly beautiful and fascinating! It feels to me like I’m looking though a large honeycomb.
It resembles a large caterpillar presumably for transformation into an equally brilliant butterfly. Change, evolution, the choice between stagnation / death & a new beginning.

Extraordinary!
