Hudson Valley (NY) based artist Michael Mapes takes “mixed media” to an entirely different level… gorgeous closeups included as cold hard proof! From portraits of regular people and reconstructed Dutch Masters’ paintings, to still life vignettes and vintage pin-ups, Michael builds these images out of the most most unsuspected supplies.
