Today’s ‘member in the spotlight’ is Canadian artist Rose Currie. I’ve loved Rose’s urban seascapes for years, but this new body of work (figures: acrylic & oil on canvas; text: watercolor on paper) is so powerful, vulnerable, and beautifully executed. Here’s a small part of Rose’s story:
What a touching story and artwork to go with it by Rose. Thank you for sharing and best wishes up in the universe sent her way.
And sending mega cheers and best wishes for you too Danielle for your Miami exhibit. Exciting. Can’t wait to see photos and hear your story from there.
Love it, powerful stuff, we're soldiers of Christ in the first row, we fight, we don't quit, no matter all the bleeding, no matter cannon fodder, we've already won!
Congrats to the lovely Rose, for her exhibition and her brave recovery :).

See you there!
Congratulations on your upcoming show!!!!
Minimalism without being OVERLY MINIMAL. A few seemingly random ink / paint strokes would make it look ALMOST Japanese.
I contacted her to say hello and she answered me. That was nice. https://liborsoural.substack.com/p/lilith-and-libor
