Porcelain-dipped bits of nature? Yep! Today’s spotlight is shining on Denver based artist Tina Suszynski : “I use plants, clay and extreme heat to portray destruction in search of beauty as well as the beauty of destruction. I am looking for the calm I once knew, turning to nature to assuage my concern for the environment and each other.”
Gorgeous work! I’d love to try a leaf skeleton dipped in porcelain. But as a member of a studio, I’m not sure my studio owner would allow me to let it burn off in the kiln.
Glorious!

Love Tina’s work!
Thank you so much for all your guidance and support this week Danielle♥️
Had I not known what they are, they resembled sea shells or fragments of same. Really well presented.
Her work kind of resembles Dale Chihuly's work blown glass but including found glass as well.
